Easy Chocolate Truffles Recipe
Ingredients (for 30 truffles):
- 10.6 oz (300g) black chocolate bar
- 3.5 oz (100g) bitter cocoa
- ½ cup (125 ml) cream
- 1.5 oz (40g) butter
Method :
- Break the chocolate bar into small squares
- In a saucepan, heat over medium heat the cream until boiling
- Put the chocolate into the cream and mix until homogeneous
- Add the butter and mix
- Pour the mixture into a bowl and cool it down into the fridge for at least 2h
- Once the mixture is solid, pour the cocoa powder into a plate
- Make small balls out of the chocolate mixture using 2 teaspoons and rolling them in your hands
- Roll these balls into the cocoa powder
- Place the truffles in the fridge until serving
My tip: to change the flavor, you can also add 1 tbsp of your favorite alcohol (for adults) or 2 pinches of cinnamon, or ginger powder. You can also roll the truffles into other kind of toppings like white chocolate powder or crushed nuts…
